Beer Festival
Date: 13th (16:00 – 22:00)– 14th June 2025 (11:00 – 22:00). Both days last entry at 20:00.
The Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival is a much-loved annual event held at the Hall & Woodhouse Brewery in Blandford St Mary, Dorset. Originally launched in 2013 to celebrate the opening of our new brewery, the festival has since grown into a staple of the local calendar, bringing together beer lovers from across the region for a day of great drinks, live music, and delicious food.
At its heart, the festival is a celebration of real ale and cider, showcasing our own Badger and Outland Beers alongside a handpicked selection from other local brewers.
More than just a beer event, it’s also a chance to support good causes — with over £55,000 raised for local charities like Dorset Mind, the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, Macmillan Cancer Support, and most recently The Huntington’s Disease Association.

Huntington’s Disease Association
The Huntington’s Disease Association is a UK-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Huntington’s disease — a rare, hereditary neurodegenerative disorder that causes progressive deterioration of the brain’s physical, cognitive, and emotional functions. The charity provides expert support and advice to individuals and families living with the condition, while also funding research, raising public awareness, and campaigning for better care and services.
Through education, advocacy, and a strong network of regional care advisors, the Huntington’s Disease Association works tirelessly to ensure that no one faces Huntington’s alone.
Beers at the Festival
While this year’s beer list is yet to be confirmed, in previous years the Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival has featured an impressive range of over 50 beers and ciders. Highlights have included our own Badger favourites like Fursty Ferret, Tanglefoot, and Hopping Hare, as well as innovative brews from our Outland range such as the Tropical Pale Ale and Milk Stout. We’ve also proudly showcased guest ales and ciders from some of the best local and regional breweries, offering something for every palate — from classic bitters to bold, hoppy IPAs and refreshing ciders.
Festival Highlights
We are also doing a Beer barrow raffle, where tickets can be purchased from the shop in the run up for £5 for 5 tickets. Quite literally winner gets a wheelbarrow full of beer and wine.
We are proud to have Pete Brown with us this year, the esteemed Beer Columnist for the Sunday Times. On Friday evening and Saturday, Pete will be signing copies of his new book, Tasting Notes, which matches some of his favourite beers – including Outland West Coast IPA – with songs. It’s a perfect gift for Father’s Day, or for any beer or music enthusiast.
